Bob Gold has held various executive positions at the Ridgewood Companies since joining the firm in 1987. In those capacities, he was responsible for investments in the Energy, Power and Environmental industries. Bob has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ridgewood Capital since its inception in late 1998. Prior to joining Ridgewood, Bob was a corporate attorney in the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York.

Bob received his JD from New York University School of Law and his BA from Colgate University. He sits on the Board of Directors of SavaJe Technologies (and was formerly a board member of Orbcomm, Inc.) and recently resigned from the board of Orbcomm upon the company's IPO in November 2006.
